Plans & pricing

Pick the plan that matches what you earn and where you play.

Creators earning under $10K a year from performances stay on the free tier — about 62% of active users do. Everyone else upgrades when their show outgrows the busking console.

Capability matrix

A row-by-row audit of sync engine limits, hardware, and seats.

Pricing is tied to measurable limits — timeline length, cue counts, sync seats, support tier — not vague feature flags. Everything below ships from a single timeline.

Pricing & Terms · FAQ

The fine print, answered plainly.

Six questions we get on every trial signup — answered with the actual numbers from our 2024 user survey and terms of service. The 14-day Pro trial requires no credit card to start.

How does the 14-day Pro trial work, and do I need a card?

Start a trial from the top-right button on this page. You get the full BeatSyndrome Pro feature set — cloud cue-sync, Show Mode busking console, Resolume and grandMA2 bridges — for 14 calendar days. We never ask for a card up front; on day 15 your account quietly rolls back to the Free tier unless you pick a paid plan.

Who actually qualifies for the free under-$10K creator tier?

The Free tier is open to any solo creator earning under US$10,000 per calendar year from live performances, production royalties, or mixing fees. Self-attested at signup and re-confirmed once a year — no tax documents required. Roughly 62% of our active 11,400+ user base sits on this tier.

Teams, venues, and labels operating commercially are routed to the Pro or Venue plan regardless of individual member earnings.

What is the refund policy if I cancel mid-cycle?

Cancel any time from your account dashboard. Monthly plans stop at the end of the current billing month — no pro-rated refund on partial months, but we keep your Pro features live until the cycle closes. Annual plans come with a 30-day money-back window, no questions asked, because most festival rigs are booked inside that window.

Can I switch between Monthly, Annual, and the Venue plan?

Yes, in both directions. Upgrade from Monthly to Annual inside the app and we credit the unused days against the new total. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal so you keep paid features through the period you already paid for. Venue-to-Pro switches are processed by the artist-relations team and typically resolve inside one business day.

Which controllers and lighting consoles are supported?

Beat Syndrome ships with native bridge profiles for 84 hardware controllers and 22 lighting consoles — including Pioneer DJ, Allen & Heath, Native Instruments Maschine, Native Instruments Traktor S4, Ableton Push, grandMA2, Avolites Titan, and ETC Eos. Resolume, TouchDesigner, and Ableton Live connect over our native bridge; no MIDI loopback patches required.

Full device matrix lives at /touring/ and is updated within 48 hours of every new integration.

Do you offer volume pricing for festivals and production companies?

Yes. Ten or more seats, or any festival/AV rental evaluation, is handled by our artist-relations team under a Venue or Enterprise quote — not the standard checkout. Active production-company partners include 720 companies across 47 countries, ranging from four-seat rental houses to 90-seat touring vendors.
